Another #1 for SWING
As you know Othentic has produced SWING's latest album. Their new single titled "Encore une fois" has tooed all of their previous records. It's now been 10 weeks at the top of canadian RFA charts and is now at the top of pop rock charts in Quebec. Congrats guys!

NEW CLIENTS
Othentic has been working a lot trying to enlarge his list of corporate clients and it now pays off. Desjardins and Couche-Tard are now using some of Othentic's new loops and music and even his voice on some of their new corporate videos.

MOB MAG & OTHENTIC
Besides being busy as hell with producing albums and scoring music for the MLB, Othentic is now writing for the new canadian urban magazine MOB Magazine (www.mobmagonline.com). He is now cutting into his 3 hours nights to find time to write about his experience in the music biz. Be sure to find one of the 10 000 copies distributed all over Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal.

STUDIO PUMPED UP
Yes it happened again. The studio has been pumped up for the sake of our customers. I wanted power and versatility so I went with SSL Duende for 32 SLL strips and I must say, they just blew me away, thanks SSL. I also wanted vintage compressors and EQs so I went with the UAD-1 (Universal Audio) for the Neve package and some other very good plugins such as Pultec, Fairchild, LA-2A... The studio is now in for serious mixing, be afraid...

OTHENTIC vs MLB
Othentic is currently working on a 13 episode cartoon animation for the Tamba Bay's Devil Rays (Major League Baseball). He's producing the whole musical score along with the musical theme for One Sum Communications (the firm that got the contract for the animation).

BIG 2006 START
2006 is starting very well for Othentic since he already produced songs for 3 major acts in Quebec. Unfortunately, we can't say more than that because the projects are still in progress but stay tuned as the projects get out, you'll be the first informed. Can you guess who these artists are?

OTHENTIC GOES MAC
Othentic is joining the dark side of the force by switching to Logic and Apple. This is a big step for us since Logic is becoming more and more the industry standard. To be able to run Logic 7.1.1 we needed a nice little computer so we went for a 2x2.5 Ghz Apple PowerMac with 4 Gb RAM. This little jewel is really giving us more than we expected. Thanks Apple!

STUDIO IS PUMPED UP
Since the past few months, Othentic has been purchasing new material to raise the quality a notch. Here is what has been added for your convenience. A new Neumann TLM 103 mic and a Focusrite ISA220 preamp. In addition, we also changed the audio card for a stunning RME Fireface 800 (wich really blew us away!). While we were at it, why not change the monitors for brand new HR824 Mackies.

As you can see, we are constantly upgrading our stuff to give you the best sound quality. Because if you can't have the best, why do it in the first place?

SWING ROCKS
The last 2 years were exceptional for this french ontarian group called Swing. They had 5 singles spinning on french radios all over Canada and one video too. They toured all over Canada appearing in the biggest venues and showing that THEY ARE ready for the big thing! Oh, I must not forget that they represented our country in east europe for a couple of shows.

Yesterday was the press conference for the 3rd Trille Or Gala. Swing came out with 7 out of 15 nominations going from best album to outstanding performance. I don't have to tell you that all eyes and cameras were on them!

We'd like to congratulate Swing for this outstanding achievement and we wish them the best for 2005!

TRILLE OR'S GALA
Producing Swing's album was a great moment of early 2004. It probably reflected in our work and that's what earned Othentic a nomination for a Trille Or Award. The show will be aired on Onatarian TV march 24th 2005. We will keep you posted!

After months of preparation and collaborations with highly talented individuals, Othentic's new web site is up. Designed by Julie Babin, Flashed by Vectormedia and integrated by GlobalDesign, this site reflects the image and attitude of its owner.

Thought having the client in mind, this site features a client zone where he can hear and download his songs as they are worked on. No need to pass by the studio to get a hard copy, you can listen to your songs anywhere, anytime. We also offer our clients a chance to get feedback by a selected panel of listeners in the listening room (For more details see listening room).
